Four precision specialists that complement each other perfectly
Micrometal ProcessingThe Micro Component Group bundles the expertise in micro-metal processing of four leading specialists: micrometal GmbH, HP Etch AB, Etchform BV, and EMS Thin Metal Parts LLC. Together, we combine state-of-the-art technologies, many years of experience, and different manufacturing strengths into a unique range of services. This allows us to find the right solution for every requirement – whether in high-precision reel-to-reel inline etching, flexible batch etching, high-precision laser cutting, or electroforming.
Our strength lies where others reach their limits: with complex metal components, tightest tolerances, finest structures, and demanding production volumes. Through the integrated know-how of all four companies, we reliably accompany you throughout the entire development and manufacturing process – from the first prototype to stable series production. Always with the technology that optimally fits your application.
Discover a world where precision is redefined: hundredths of a millimeter, ultra-thin metal sheets, filigree contours, and the most complex geometries – manufactured with the highest accuracy and maximum repeatability.

micrometal was founded in 2006 in Müllheim (Baden) and is considered the inventor of fully networked INLINE etching technology.
This refers to a highly automated and continuous manufacturing process that guarantees a maximum level of repeatability, process stability, and cost-effectiveness.
HP Etch from Stockholm, Sweden, has specialized in high-precision etching of thin metals since 1982.
In particular, Parylene coating technology (polymer coating) is used for products exposed to extreme conditions and environmental influences, for example in the electronics, aerospace, medical, and mechanical engineering industries.
Etchform was founded in 1980 in Hilversum, NL, and provides customized solutions for thin precision parts made from almost all metals, based on etching technology and electroforming.
The range also includes forming, precision mechanical surface/heat treatments, laser operations, assembly, and cleanroom packaging.
EMS Thin Metal Parts (TMP), headquartered in Colorado Springs, USA, expands the capabilities and geographic reach of the Micro Component Group. With more than 20 years of experience, TMP combines photochemical etching, electroforming, and laser cutting under one roof. This enables the production of ultra-thin precision parts with a thickness of only a few micrometers.
