Thin Metal Parts expands services to include forming and bending
Colorado Springs, CO – Thin Metal Parts, a US-based company and industry leader in the manufacture of custom metal parts for precision applications, has recently added in-house forming to its extensive portfolio of precision processes.
Thin Metal Parts has recently established its own forming technology department and hired a manager for this area. As a result, the company is now able to offer simple forming and bending processes. In addition to 90-degree angles, more complex shapes with multiple bends are also possible. By performing forming and bending processes in-house and using simple tooling, manufacturing times can be reduced and overall costs lowered.

The new head of the forming department, Joel Larson, explained: “I am very excited to be involved in building the new forming department at Thin Metal Parts. Currently, we can produce simple geometries and multiple bends. In the coming months, we will continue to expand our capabilities and the complexity of our services.”
