In just a few days, the leading minds of the global battery industry will gather in Orlando, Florida, and Engineered Materials Solutions (EMS) will be right in the middle of it.
The 43rd International Battery Seminar & Exhibit will take place from March 23 to 26, 2026, at Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando, a new venue for this long-standing event. If you attend, you will find EMS at Booth No. 312 on the exhibition floor.

What is the International Battery Seminar?
If you work in any part of the battery supply chain and have not yet attended the International Battery Seminar, you should definitely mark it in your calendar. Founded in 1983, the International Battery Seminar & Exhibit has established itself as the leading event showcasing global developments in energy storage technology for consumer, automotive, military, grid, and industrial applications.
The 2026 event is a four-day gathering organized by Cambridge Enertech and is expected to bring together around 2,000 attendees and approximately 248 speakers from OEMs, cell manufacturers, battery integrators, national research laboratories, raw material suppliers, and government agencies.

What’s new for the 2026 seminar?
This year brings a notable change for long-time attendees. After many years at the Loews Royal Pacific Resort at Universal Orlando, the International Battery Seminar is moving to a new venue: the International Battery Seminar & Exhibit 2026 will take place at Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando, Florida.

Rosen Shingle Creek is located at 9939 Universal Boulevard and is a larger, purpose-built convention resort—an appropriate upgrade for an event that has grown significantly in both scale and ambition.
The 2026 edition also has a specific theme. This year’s conference theme, “Battery Safety Standards and Testing,” addresses the need to improve battery safety testing and regulatory frameworks in response to the rapid proliferation of high-energy-density batteries.
Regulatory pressure, incidents of thermal runaway, and increasingly demanding performance specifications in electric vehicle and grid applications have turned safety from a peripheral topic into a central technical challenge.
In addition to the seminar’s traditional focus on electric vehicle performance and materials innovation, presentations are expected on the commercialization of sodium-ion batteries, advances in solid-state batteries, wireless battery management systems, developments in cell-to-pack architecture, and end-of-life recycling strategies.
In addition to keynote and technical presentations, the exhibition hall will showcase innovative products, technologies, and solutions from leading companies, providing attendees with practical insights to stay ahead in the rapidly evolving battery industry.
